The location is the whole point and it delivers. We walked to the temple gate in under two minutes, which saved us queuing for an auto every morning at 5am. Room was clean, bathroom had hot water, and the staff at the front desk were helpful. Exactly what a budget stay near the temple should be.
Jan 2026Stayed four nights with my family. The room was basic but clean and the attached bathroom was in good condition. Hot water was available every time we needed it. Rooms could use a refresh and the walls could use a repaint, but for the price and the proximity to the temple it is hard to argue with.
Dec 2025We had an early darshan and came back at 4am. We had called ahead about arriving before the desk opened and someone stayed on to let us in, which we appreciated. Rooms are simple but clean, and housekeeping did a proper job. The restaurant food was good home style cooking, which was a pleasant surprise.
Feb 2026The location cannot be beaten, that is the honest truth. The room itself is very basic and the mattress was on the thinner side. Staff were mostly fine but there was a delay when we asked for extra towels. Still, for a short temple trip it does the job.
Jan 2026Travelled with five people and we took the multi bed room so everyone stayed together. Much better than booking two rooms. Staff arranged an early check-out and had our luggage waiting before our 4am departure. Good value for a group.
Nov 2025During peak season the rooms were not in the condition we expected from the photos and one of our group had a long wait for hot water in the morning. The staff did eventually sort it out and were apologetic about it. Management should invest in the plumbing during busy periods.
Feb 2026Perfect for what we needed: a clean, affordable room a short walk from the temple. The Grand Road sweet shops next door are the easiest breakfast stop you could ask for. Not a fancy hotel and it does not pretend to be, which we actually appreciated.
Oct 2025Second stay here and the rooms have been consistently clean both times. The CCTV and the fact that someone is always at the front desk made us comfortable leaving our luggage while we went to the beach. Parking was manageable even in season.
Sept 2025Good proximity to the temple and reasonable rates. The room needed a bit of maintenance and the noise from Grand Road carried through until late. Staff is polite. Fine for a short stay if you are not fussy about room size.
Dec 2025We were a group of only male guests and were treated properly, no issues at all. Check in took two minutes. If you want a no frills room at the temple gate with reliable hot water, this is the place. We have already booked again for next season.

Yes. Group bookings are welcome, and for groups of six or more we would recommend the Multi-Bed Room or a combination of rooms. Please contact us a few days in advance so we can allocate rooms together and confirm the total rate.
